2-Day Desert Tour From Marrakesh To Zagora

Your private 2-day desert tour from Marrakech to Zagora departs around 08h00 AM r to Zagora through Tizi Ntichka pass (2250 m. alt) driving past different Berber villages, and locals herding their goats. Stop in the High Atlas Mountains to take some photos, stretch your legs or have a cup of tea.
Upon arrival to Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, you will have some time to explore the UNESCO world heritage village, and its famous Kasbah, which has been used for various Biblical epics as well as a backdrop for commercial photo shoots. After the visit of the Kasbah, you will have an hour for lunch break at leisure.
From here, we will continue to drive past Ouarzazat and we will cross the North-eastern parts of the Anti-Atlas Mountains to the oasis of Agdez. After a stop in the village center, you will like one amazing scenery after another driving along Drâa Valley with its fortified Kasbahs and oases dotted with several dates palm trees. Drâa Valley contains the largest palm tree plantation in Morocco.
Upon arrival at Zagora Sahara desert late in the afternoon, we will meet our camel caravans, and our camel excursion adventure will begin through Zagora desert while assisting to a wonderful sunset for about an hour. Please kindly note that there are no dunes in Zagora. Then we drive our camels to our Berber desert camp. A delicious dinner will be served tonight at your luxury camp. Right after; get ready for a nice drums show next to the campfire. Your local desert hosts will be playing drums and singing local traditional music until around midnight.

Early in the morning, you can enjoy the sunrise. After breakfast, ride your camels again to meet your car and driver on the main road. From here, we depart to Ouarzazate, where we will stop for lunch at a local restaurant, and visit Taourirt Kasbah. Early in the afternoon, we drive back to Marrakech crossing the High Atlas Mountains.
