Upon arrival in Casablanca airport, the economic capital of Morocco, your private driver will receive you at the airport and escort you to your hotel, where you will check in and relax. Depending on your arrival flight time, you may enjoy a tour of the great Hassan II mosque one of the most elaborately designed mosques in the Islamic World. In the evening, the driver will take you to your hotel.
After breakfast, you will leave with your driver towards Fez. On route, you will stop at Rabat, the capital of Morocco and residence of the King (Mohammed VI). You will enjoy a visit to this beautiful Imperial city, Old Medina, Chellah (a medieval fortified Muslim necropolis) and more… You will have lunch and a time to enjoy the beautiful coastal city. After lunch, you will continue on to Fez, the spiritual capital of the country, where you will spend your night.
After breakfast you will begin your guided tour of the old medina, one of the world’s largest walled in cities. You will explore the narrow streets lined with mounds, fresh fruit, of spices, intricately woven Amazigh carpets and many other art items of Morocco. A visit to the tanneries, the Kings Palace, , and potters are just a few places you will experience. For lunch, you will have it in a traditional restaurant in the heart of the medina. After lunch, you will continue your tour and return to your hotel for the evening.
Dinner and overnight
After a breakfast, you will set out this morning to the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis. You will spend the morning exploring the 2000-year-old ruins of Volubilis and getting an Idea of life during the Roman Empire. Lunch will be taken in Moulay Idriss, one of the holiest cities in Morocco. After lunch, your driver will take you on a tour of the imperial city, Meknes. You will return to Fes in the evening where you will spend your night.
Early morning, you will start the day towards the sahara desert, crossing near the national park of Ifran «the switezland of Morocco» as it calls. To enjoy its beauty and to have memorable photos, a break will be taken, after that we will head towards Azrou to see the Barbary Apes/ monkeys in the cedar forest. You will Continue to Midelt for a lunch meal in a restaurant. By the afternoon, you will reach Errachidia while admiring the views of Ziz gorges. Later on, you will have a stop in a panoramic view of Ziz valley. The drive continues to Erg Chebbi Dunes passing by Erfoud the capital of fossils, where you may want to visit a local fossil craft workshop. After that we will continue to the captivating dunes of Erg Chebbi. Arrive to the hotel and get ready for a camel ride for an hour to enjoy the sunset. Overnight and dinner in a luxury camp.
If you wake up early, the Sahara desert offers an amazing sunrise. Afterwards, you’ll peacefully ride the camels back to your hotel in the edge of the dunes appreciate in the unique beauty of the spectacular Erg Chebbi dunes with first lights. From there, you will set out behind the High Atlas Mountains on route to Ouarzazate! Along the way, you may enjoy a walk in the towering Todra Gorges (630 feet high). The scenic Dades Valley makes for a beautiful journey towards the southeast of Morocco. From here, you will set off towards Ouarzazate along the Route of thousand Kasbahs! If you would like, you can visit the ancient Kasbahs in the palmaries. Upon arrival in Ouarzazate, you can visit this southern town, probably most famous now for the films that have been produced in the area. Night in Ouarzazate.
After breakfast, you will set off to Marrakesh via Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou. Tucked away in the High Atlas Mountains, it is one of the jewels of Morocco. In typical Moroccan style, the true treasures must be searched out and discovered. Usually off the beaten path. Actually, this setting has been used for more films than any other location in Morocco; films including Jesus of Nazareth, Lawrence of Arabia, and The Gladiator.
After lunch, you will head over the mountains to Marrakesh. Once in Marrakesh, you will check into your hotel and then head off to the famous Jemaa El Fna, the center square of the medina. Jemaa el-Fna, is one of the center attractions of Marrakesh. Coming alive at night with the entertainers, local storytellers, and mouth-watering barbeque pits, the square is well worth a visit. A tasty cup of Mint tea on the terrace of an adjacent café provides an amazing aerial view of the bustling square. You will spend your night in Marrakesh.
After breakfast, you will enjoy a guided tour of Marrakesh, the southern pearl of Morocco. You will discover the Saadian Tombs, the Palace of the Bahia, and many other hidden treasures. After lunch, you will continue with the tour on to the magnificent Koutoubia Mosque and Jemaa el-Fna, one of the center attractions of Marrakesh. The tour will conclude with an exploration of the souk (traditional market). The night will be spent in Marrakesh
After breakfast, you will enjoy a free morning in Marrakesh to relax and explore. You may like to try a cooking class (USD$80 per person, must be booked in advance) or visiting the lovely Majorelle Gardens. After lunch and at your convenience, you will drive to Casablanca, once you reach the city we recommend to visit Rick’s Café! Enjoy your final evening in Morocco!
Depending to your flight time you will be transferred to the airport, if the flight is not in the morning you can have a morning visit to the city before your transfer to the airport.
