Morocco 3-Day Desert Tour From Fez To Marrakesh

Our driver will pick you up from Fez in the morning to start the journey to the desert passing through Ifrane (Switzerland of Morocco), the Middle Atlas Mountains and the beautiful cedar forests of Azrou where the Barbary Apes/ monkeys are located. you will stop at the forest to take some pictures of wilderness in Morocco. After the beautiful cedar forest you will continue to Medilt (Berber Villages) where we will have lunch and then we continue through the middle atlas enjoying the view of the Mountains and landscapes of Medilt, then we will have a stop at Ziz Valley where you can take lovely panoramic pictures of the valley before getting to Arfoud and Errissani , the beginning of the desert and Oasis continuing to Erg Chebbi desert (Merzouga). When we arrive to Merzouga, you will start riding camels from the hotel into the dunes for 1 hour and half, you will stop for sunset in the heart of the dunes then continue to the camp where you can try the Sand Boarding experience. After dinner, campfire and Berber drums music at the luxury camp, you can walk in dunes to enjoy the glittery desert sky.

The camel guide will wake you up early in the morning to watch an unforgettable sunrise over the dunes. When the colors of the sand dunes make an amazing sight combined with the play of shadows. After the sunrise in dunes, we ride the camels back to the hotel in Merzouga, where you’ll have the shower and the breakfast before starting our journey to Tafilalt (Errissani) area at the edge of the Ziz Valley, Errissani is an old Berber and Bedouin town and it’s the first ruler of the Alawite dynasty which thrived in the seventeenth century. Our 3-day tour continues to Dades Valley through the Mountains, the exciting Gorges and past the eastern slopes of the Atlas to Todra Gorges and oasis, passing through valleys of palms and the old Berber villages continuing on an amazing scenic drive through the Dades Mountains. Overnight in Hotel at the Boumalen Dades.

After the breakfast and shower at the hotel in Boumalen Dades, We will start our last day to Ouarzazate (Holywood of Morocco) via Sekoura Oasis and stopping at the panoramic view of Taourirte Kasbah and for another stop will be near the Atlas Film Studio in Ouarzazate. After those few stops, we will continue driving to visit and have lunch at Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, this old Kasbah is an old Ksar (Palace) along the former Berber and Bedouin caravan route between the north of Morocco and the Sahara, the Kasbah has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987 and a lot of movies have been shot there (Ex: Gladiator, the Mummy…etc.). After visiting the Kasbah we will continue driving to Marrakesh via the high Atlas Mountains passing through the Tizi Ntichka pass (2250m in altitude) and serval few Berber Villages in the Mountains. We will arrive in Marrakesh in the evening.
