Morocco 8-Day Private Tour From Tangier To Marrakech

From the ferry or the airport of Tangier, we pick you up and start to drive through the Rif mountains to enjoy the views of the stunning mountains of Morocco till we get to Chefchaouan, one of the beautiful towns in the feet of Rif mountains. After breakfast, our journey begin towards Volubilis crossing some Rif villages, we will stop in Volubilis to explore the Roman ruins and we learn about the Moroccan history (BC), then we will drive to Meknes city (the 17th century heritage) where we will have your lunch. Early morning we start the day towards the sahara desert, crossing near the national park of Ifran « the switezland of Morocco » as it calls. To enjoy its beauty and to have a memorable photos, a break will be taken, after that we will head towards Azrou to see the Barbary Apes/ monkeys in the cedar forest. We Continue to Midelt for a lunch meal in a restaurant. By the afternoon, we will cross the pass of Tizin Telghomt to reach Errachidia while admiring the views of Ziz gorges, which offers wonderful photographic opportunities. Later on, we will stop in a panoramic view of Ziz valley. The drive continues to Erg Chebbi Dunes passing by Aoufous village and Erfoud the capital of fossils, where you may want to visit a local fossil craft workshop. After that we will continue to the captivating dunes of Erg Chebbi. Arrive to the hotel and get ready for a camel ride for an hour and half to enjoy the sunset. Overnight and dinner in nomad tent camp site.

If you wake up early, the Sahara desert offers an wonderful sunrise. Afterward, you will peacefully ride the camels back to your hotel on the edge of the dunes appreciate in the unique beauty of the spectacular Erg Chebi dunes with first lights. After breakfast, you will enjoy a full-day tour to visit Marrakech. The visit will include the Menara gardens, a wonderful pool surrounded by flowers, Saadian Tombs, the Koutoubia Minaret, the museum of Dar Si Said with the best collection of Berber arts and crafts, and the Bahia Palace… You will take lunch in a local restaurant, after that we walk through the Souks of Marrakech.
